Hi, you can call me Dr. Coach Mason and I am the lead coach and originator of the Harnessing You website. At an early age I was interested in being a college professor. However, after the completion of my undergraduate degree, I chose to become a professional and participated in a 20+ year career in Management and Technology consulting.

During that time, I also had the opportunity to teach graduate school for 5+ years. Although I enjoyed engaging with my students, my career and growing family demands caused me to make the choice to focus only on consulting.

After a very fruitful consulting career, I believe I have accomplished what I set out to do as a full-time consultant and I decided to join the Financial Independent Retire Early (FIRE) movement to spend more time focusing on my family and passions.

 I am a lifelong learner and still enjoy sharing knowledge and assisting others on their own journey towards success. I made a few attempts to get back into teaching to no avail. However, as an entrepreneur, a business educator, and a student of philosophy, I had to ask myself the question why? Why do I need to be hired at an institution to share knowledge? Why do I need to be hired at an institution to help people? Hence the creation of Harnessing You. I look forward to the path this new venture takes me on and building relationships with others along the way.
